Alamo Drafthouse Cinema DC - Crystal City

I wanted to try this theater out to see 28 years later. The theater is very nice. I was very hungry so I ordered 3 dishes: the fried pickles, breakfast club, and chocolate chip cookies. Also ordered a drink. The fried pickles were very good, as was the club sandwich. I liked the cookies, but I just wish they were soft. The drink i had was a special drink for the movie. It was ok. Also had a sweet iced tea. That was good. I do wish the seats were a bit bigger. And maybe as far as writing down orders, I would like to use a pencil. But I enjoyed myself and would definitely go back.

Great movie area, they have a bar too! I love the recliner seats. The food was amazing! I had Pizza, Wings, Caesar salad, and Banana pudding for dessert! Everything was amazing I will be coming back soon!

Alamo Movie Theater Review My recent visit to Alamo Movie Theater was mostly great! The soft, comfortable seating made watching the movie even more enjoyable. Joshua, the bartender, stood out for his friendly attitude and helpful suggestions for food and drinks — exceptional service! The front desk staff was sweet and had a great sense of humor, making us feel welcomed right away. The venue was generally clean, though that front door needs a bit of WD-40 — the squeaking was pretty distracting. Unfortunately, the bathrooms were not well-maintained, which was disappointing. On a positive note, I appreciated their vegan food options. The vegan pizza was tasty, and the vegan chocolate chip cookies were absolutely delicious — a real treat for those with dietary preferences. Overall, it was a fun experience, but some improvements in maintenance and cleanliness would make it even better.

Highly recommend catching a big screen show. The visual and audio quality is top notch. The seats are comfy too. I just wish that the people taking orders weren’t walking through the rows the entire time.

We had a great time here. The seatings were awesome and LOVE that you can order drinks and foods from your seats and they will get that for you. Their cocktails were great! Definitely will be back!

The movie theaters themselves are decent, but what really stands out is the excellent service—the staff is always friendly and works hard to get food to you quickly. The new Key Lime Pie was disappointing—very small and definitely not worth the $12 price tag. On the other hand, the cheese fries are a solid choice: rich, satisfying, and great for an occasional treat. Happy hour runs from 4 to 7 p.m. at the bar on the second floor (to the right). It has a great atmosphere and offers nice views—worth checking out. Pro tip: Tuesday tickets are just $9!

The theater was very convenient and not too crowded and even though the theater was at about 80% capacity, there was a great amount of space between the seats. The server was attentive and friendly, and it was cool to have a button to pass if you needed service. The only downside was the restroom was not clean. I let management know before I left so others could have a better experience.
